Audience and purpose
AS Perso is intended for people aged 16 and over. It provides personal development and wellbeing tools. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment and does not replace appropriate professional support.
On my phone
AS Perso works without a user account. My journeys, journal, moods, goals, challenges and relationships are stored on this phone. The app does not send them to a publisher server or include them in advertising requests.
Back up and erase
I can export an encrypted backup with a password, then choose where to keep or share it. The service I choose (email, cloud storage…) has its own rules. Without the password, the backup cannot be recovered. Erasing my data in AS Perso does not delete copies I have exported.
Local protection
Working data is stored in the app’s private space, protected by Android. It does not use the password encryption applied to exports. Uninstalling the app deletes its local data; an exported backup is needed to restore it.
Advertising
A banner may appear on Today. The app requests non-personalised ads. Google AdMob may still process technical data: connection details, IP address, advertising interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers. My personal writing is not used to target ads. Available options are under “My advertising choices”.
Reminders and exercises
Reminders are scheduled on my phone, with my permission for notifications. Their text may be visible depending on my Android settings. Exercises can continue while the screen is locked, with a control notification. Spoken instructions use Android text-to-speech and its settings; only exercise labels are passed to it.
Retention
Your entries remain on your phone until deletion or uninstallation. Exports remain with the recipients and services you choose until separately deleted. Encrypted files may also remain in the app cache until it is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The publisher keeps no server copy of your writing.
Email support
If you contact the publisher, your address and message are used to handle your request, based on the legitimate interest in providing support. Do not send your journal, backups or passwords. Correspondence is retained for up to twelve months after the request is closed, unless required for legal obligations or disputes. Gmail processes this correspondence under its own policies.
Advertising choices and providers
Google UMP checks the required privacy choices before any ad request. Advertising processing that requires consent depends on your choices; other technical processing may support security and fraud prevention. Declining an advertising choice does not block personal tools. Google may process data outside your country under the safeguards and retention rules in its privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. Non-personalised advertising does not mean no data processing.
Your rights
You can view, edit, export and delete your entries in the app. The publisher cannot remotely retrieve data stored only on your phone. For data received by email, contact asperso.appli@gmail.com to exercise, subject to applicable conditions, rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability. You may also contact your data protection authority, including the French CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr/en. For data processed by Google, also use Google’s privacy options and contact channels.

This page requires no AS Perso account and includes no form, advertising or audience measurement tool added by the publisher. The hosting provider may process technical information needed to serve and secure the page. This policy will be updated if features or providers change.
